This session is ideal for those who want to learn the basics of birding! Learn about different bird watching tools and how they are properly used, including how to efficiently navigate a field guide. You will also learn how to identify birds and discuss methods for attracting birds to your backyard. To conclude, we will look for some common birds around Wentz Run Park!
The first half of the informational session will take place under the concession pavilion at Wentz Run Park and the second half will take place on the Wentz Run Park Nature Trail. Please wear comfortable clothing.
A limited number of binoculars will be provided - please bring your own if you have them.
